As we invite all of our discerning Gin aficionados and eager to learn novices to come along and experience the exotic aromas and flavours of the Hidden World Gin company from right here in Auckland.

Hidden World is a collaboration between the Zeitgeist talents of Luke Nicholas of the iconic Epic Brewing Company and Anthony Sexton of Vaione Gin. Their joint venture came about as a result of a mutually shared journey into the exotic and exciting world of hand crafted Gin, which they both now want to share with you.

This will be a night of discovery and amazement for your Gin obsessed taste buds as they will get to experience many unique, limited edition, artisanal, Kiwi Gins of great beauty and complexity, that they will never forget.

What we'll be tasting on the night:

Guardian Gin
44% The flavour for this gin is dominated by the New Zealand native pepper trees Kawakawa & Horopito. A taste of New Zealand. Our favourite tonic match is the East Imperial Red Label, as the sweetness works with the spiciness of the Gin. Tonic Match – East Imperial Red Label

Pink Gin
44% For so long people have asked for a Pink Gin but it took us a while to get it right. The colour and the flavour. The magic comes from using Freeze Dried Raspberries to give the pink colour and berry flavour. Tonic Match - East Imperial Grapefruit

Hot Cross Bun Gin
44% This was a sell-out success last year. We have doubled down on the intensity of the flavour delivering more Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Dried Fruit and Citrus Peel. Exactly like you expect a Hot Cross Bun gin would taste Tonic Match – Fever-Tree Indian Tonic

Oriental Gin
44% A bounty of different Oriental Spices including Cardamom, Clove, and Sichuan Pepper. The aroma of this Gin will totally WOW you. Or as the ultimate Negroni with Campari and Vermouth. Tonic Match – Fever Tree Mediterranean

Forest Gin
44% The best comment so far has been “it tastes like eating a Christmas Tree". Using Pine, Bay Leaves and Kauri Gum this Gin has the aroma of the forest. Big fresh piney notes, with hints of bark, sap, resin and woodiness. One of our most interesting Gins. Tonic Match – East Imperial Old World

Monster J

Navy Gin
60% Navy Strength Gin Take the gunpowder test. The strongest Gin made in New Zealand. The flavours in this Gin are driven by the savoury herbs; Thyme, Sage and Tangelo. Tonic Match - East Imperial Yuzu

Chilli Gin
44% Originally made for Culley’s using their exclusive Carolina Reapers (but not in a crazy hot way). The hottest chillies in the world. It has an incredible fruitiness from the chillies, but only a medium level of heat. Great in a Bloody Mary. Tonic Match – East ImperialThai Ginger Ale
