New Zealand Indian Fine Arts Society is very excited and proud to be bringing a unique Musical Evening, for the very first time to the Wellington Audience by Veteran Musician. Sri.G.S.Mani Iyer.
Sri.G.S.Mani Iyer, a veteran with seven decades of experience, is well-versed in Carnatic & Hindustani Music. His lecture demonstrations are very popular among budding musicians. He has also scored music for films and has composed several songs in Sanskrit, Tamil and Telugu.
This legendary Octogenarian Vocalist is bringing in a conceptual musical evening, exploring Carnatic Music through Tamil film Songs, which is indeed going to be a treat for both classical and light music lovers. He will be accompanied by local talents Harmonium and Tabla.
He will primarily speak to the audience in English.
