Guest Musician
Welcome Berthine Louise! Berthine (piano, lyricist, music teacher) was born into a classically trained musical family and has been playing music and writing since a child. She studied Musicology at the University of Amsterdam and later gained a BA (Hons) in Environmental Science.

Berthine has a special love of Spanish culture, enjoys collabs, and with her passion for dance thrown in, her set for us at One2one combines all three. She will be bringing some Czech, some Spanish and some own and Rebecca Cookson, highly accomplished in Flamenco dance, will be performing. It promises to be a magical night of culture! Kia ora Berthine for creating this event for us.

Five Word Challenge: Employ these five words: dance - earth - absorb - reach - drink - in a short piece of writing < 50 words all up and place in the Red Box of Mystery for randomly-awarded book prizes & chocolate bars. Plus, scoop up fliers on lit events & competitions.

Inside.out thanks Chris Priestley and the team at Cafe One2One, and the fine people at the NZ Society of Authors (PEN NZ Inc) Te Puni Kaituhi O Aotearoa Auckland Branch, for their support of this open mic literary & music event in Tamaki Makaurau .https://authors.org.nz/.

Note: Inside.Out continues through the silly season: Wed 11 Dec, Wed 8 Jan.
