International Men's Day: Pizza, Cake and a Movie

Hacksaw Ridge is a true story about a young man who wanted to serve his country, but would not in good conscience pick up a weapon. He faced huge opposition from his fellow trainees, his trainers, as well as in the battle at Hacksaw Ridge.

This is a very graphic movie portraying the horrors of war, but it also portrays an inspiring man who faced many battles in addition to the one on the ground. We all face battles as men, some outward, and some inward. Come along for some kai, a chat and to watch this inspiring story.
