In a dystopian future where humanity is struggling to survive, courageous pioneers travel through a wormhole in search of a new home for humanity. But the cost is great. Space and time are relative – a few years to astronauts travelling through space can mean decades back on Earth.
This film will be preceded by a 10-minute brief history of the universe, and an overview of the connection between space and time. Learn how this affects not only the future of human space exploration, but Earth’s society here and now.
Sci-fi Fridays take place every second Friday of the month in Otago Museum's Perpetual Guardian Planetarium. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
Rated M – Low level violence. Run time 1h 55m
Tickets are available from the Museum Shop, or online.
