Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This course is available twice in 2019 starting 18 March (Mondays) and 4 December (Wednesdays) 2019.

Each course comprises two evenings 7 - 9pm with a Saturday morning session between.

Tutor: Ian Eng
Learn to get creative photos of flowers just like on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

This course will show you how to create a pleasing composition, manage lighting and share ideas for creative set-up. The use of macro lenses and other accessories will be demonstrated. Our Saturday class will be held at the Auckland Wintergardens with its huge range of flowers and plants to shoot. Ian will also share some ideas for fun and fancy photo editing for mood photos, cropping, colours and textures. Class notes will be supplied.

A Facebook group will also be created for those who wish to share photos and ideas.

Bring you own camera gear and a macro lens if you have one. Although you will be able to find foliage around the school to photograph, you may wish to bring your own bloom if you have a particular interest.
