The role and responsibility of the SM in performance – preparing and running a performance.
We are thrilled that the tutor for this workshop is the hugely experienced Sonia van der Heyden:
Sonia has 15 years’ experience in the theatre industry in production & stage management. Sonia has been with Capital E since 2011 helping create professional theatre work for children and young people and is currently the Associate Producer in the Live theatre team.
Sonia joined Tikapa Productions, who create duynamic and diverse Māori theatre, as a producer in 2014. Sonia enjoys producing Tikapa’s excellent repertoire of work and helping to put Tikapa on the NZ and world stage. In her ‘spare time’ you’ll find Sonia ogling over wool as she is a keen crafter and crochet maker.
“Attending theatre is a favourite pastime, I’m lucky enough to work in an industry that I enjoy. I love the nuts and bolts of putting a production together.”
