About ISACA and CACS
There are now more than 120,000 ISACA members worldwide, represented by over 200 local chapters, ISACA is the recognised global leader in IT governance, control and assurance. Since its inception in 1969, ISACA has become a pace-setting global organisation for information governance, control, security, and audit professionals.

ISACA’s Information Systems (IS) auditing and control standards and frameworks, including COBIT, are followed by practitioners worldwide. ISACA publishes a leading technical journal, the ISACA Journal, and it hosts international conferences on pertinent topics. ISACA certifications such as CISA, CISM, and others are recognised globally as an indicator of professional competence and expertise.
ISACA is a progressive organisation, staying at the forefront of emerging issues.

For example, its research, through its affiliated IT Governance Institute (ITGI) pinpoints professional issues challenging its constituents. And ISACA’s SheLeadsTech initiative seeks to increase the representation of women in technology leadership roles and the tech workforce.

CACS conferences have an enviable reputation as the preeminent event for IS governance, assurance, and security professionals, and they also attract delegates in executive management, IS management, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management roles.

At the conference, international and local speakers present their latest thinking, research and practical experience, while delegates share their own real world discoveries and expertise. Typically 150-250 people attend CACS conferences, many holding senior positions. This provides your organisation with a unique opportunity to promote your products and services to existing and potential clients.

The Oceania CACS conference is the annual conference of ISACA within the Oceania region. ISACA’s constituency is characterised by its diversity. Its community includes a variety of professional IT-related positions—some of which include IS auditor, consultant, educator, IS security professional, risk professional, chief information officer, IT governance and internal auditor. Some are new to the field, others are at middle management levels and still others are in the most senior ranks. ISACA constituents work in nearly all industry categories, including financial and banking, public accounting, government and the public sector, utilities and manufacturing.

While a technology conference, Oceania CACS traditionally has a business focus, addressing the risk to the business and the solutions that can be adopted within organisations facing the accelerating impact of technology driven change.

The conference is well respected as a valuable and enjoyable networking opportunity bringing together not only ISACA members but others in senior governance, risk and assurance positions who are seeking to understand issues and find solutions in the area of technology risk and assurance. The attendees are often uniquely placed to influence strategic and purchasing decisions in respect to risk within organisations.
