It’s Love, Isn’t It? - Poetry and Chamber Music with Guitar

Performed by iconic New Zealanders Dame Kate Harcourt and Sir Jon Trimmer with music by Philip Norman performed by leading New Zealand guitarist Matthew Marshall, this concert features the love poems that New Zealand poets Alistair Te Ariki Campbell and Meg Campbell wrote to each other during the early and middle years of their marriage.

Tested by mental illness, infidelity, doubt and independence, their love remained strong to the end.

The concert also features beautiful chamber music for guitar from the 19th Century to the present day with violinist Tessa Petersen and cellist Heleen du Plessis.
