Film-makers Waka Attewell and Gerd Pohlmann team up with artist Sally Griffin to explore new boundaries in documentary filmmaking with the wonderful art of Jacqueline Fahey.
The filmmakers invite you to a talk about their ‘work in progress documentary’ on the artist.
This event coincides with Jacqueline Fahey’s Suburbanites exhibition at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery Te Pukenga Whakaata, from 1st August – 1st November 2019.
“We have been filming Jack now for the past couple of years – at a floor talk in Christchurch, in her home, helping pack up paintings for the Portrait Gallery exhibition, often informal and almost spontaneous!”
Discussion and questions are welcome.
