Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, this fiery blues/soul infused, reggae/roots inspired outfit bring their unique sound back to New Zealand for a fresh string of dates.
After representing Melbourne/Australia in Memphis, Tennessee at the International Blues Challenge in 2017 with former outfit Blues Mountain, Jesse Valach has been paving a well deserved path in the ever progressing blues genre leaving behind instant fans wherever he performs.
With 2 albums released to the forefront of Australian Blues and Roots Radio and receiving extensive airplay his return to touring has been imminent. His 2nd Album “Separation Street” received a nomination for Best Blues Album of 2015 at the Age Music Awards and laid tribute to lead guitarist/singer Jesse Valach’s New Zealand upbringing and now with their current blues/gospel single “Testify” currently receiving nationwide airplay it is a huge testimony to the new direction they are taking.
Jesse Valach & The Testaments will embark on a small weekend tour of New Zealand starting at Thirsty Dog Tavern hosting Auckland Blues Music Club Jam on Thur Aug 8th 8pm before heading to Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival on the 9th-11th Aug, from there they’ll be making a quick stop at the finest live music establishment in Whangarei (The Butter Factory) on Tuesday 13th August from 6pm.
