Join us for this special Workshop as we take a journey through the seven chakras; this will be a deeply restorative yoga practice with a 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra, with Shanti Dasi. The Restorative portion will focus on one of the seven major chakras for each restorative yoga pose to stimulate and harmonise these energetic pathways.

The Yoga Nidra portion is based on the Satyananda lineage of Nidra, and Shanti has curated a unique script herself specifically for this workshop; all images, breath awareness and sensation will align to the chakras and the story narrative is completely unique.

All attendees of this Workshop will receive a special gift to take home.

What is Restorative Yoga?
Each pose is held for 5-10 minutes, and during this time conscious breathing techniques (pranayama), visualisation and mantra will be offered as tools to navigate the sensations in the body and mind. Each posture offers its own physical, mental and emotional benefits.

What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra derived from ancient yogic practices is known as “yogic sleep”. The mind stays alert, while the body sleeps. A powerful tool to access deep states of consciousness, Yoga Nidra, allows for profound healing.

Benefits of combining Restorative Yoga + Nidra?
- Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
- Help healing from illness or trauma
- Stretch and open muscles and joints
- Improve sleep
- Balance the nervous system
- Restore energy

“Yoga Nidra has the ability to reorganise, restructure, recondition, a person’s psychological personality. It is a mind technique, it works from the mind, it’s a technique that does take us systematically through the whole of the human being. And systematically works on the different areas until we are in a deep state of relaxation or receptivity.” - Swami Shantimurti Saraswati
