The Julie Lamb Outfit is an 8 piece band throwing down bluesy, soul-infused, kick arse funky pop originals. You’ll lose yourself somewhere between the stories and the grooves, and find a high energy, smile a minute, infectious vibe.
The charting, award winning band presents a five date tour, with a twofold purpose: To showcase new works and to fundraise for their upcoming album.
The tour kicks off from one of the most beautiful venues in Wellington - and it’s being pushed out with a bit of a difference... a BYO party styles gig!
So - no hunkering down in yer winter woollies... put on your best polyprops, grab a blanky, a doz and some fush and chups - and come and celebrate our music with us right on the Petone waterfront!
The Julie Lamb Outfit consists of: Julie Lamb, vocals, bad jokes and equally dubious percussion; Shan Jordan, keys, vocals and raucous laughter; Lisa Tagaloa, vocals and presence; Eoin Williams, guitar and silver foxness; Chris Fursdon, bass and scholarly tones; Giacomo Caleffi, drums and moustache; Kali Barton, trombone and speed demon driving; and Amity Alton-Lee, saxophones and designer clothing.
