We are pleased to release our Kōanga-Spring Programme and invite you to visit and participate in our Events, Exhibitions & Workshops for September, October, November 2019.

Karanga Rua
Wāhine toa painter Theresa Reihana and uku artist Yvonne Tana call to us all with their beautiful and powerful mahi, celebrating and challenging life in all its forms – Karanga Rua the resounding call, an exhibition not to be missed.

Tamariki Toi School Holiday Programme
Creative curiosity and relaxed fun is always packed into our school holiday art programme, with tamariki workshops led by our team of artists and makers. Workshop details to be confirmed. Registration essential.

Te Ahuareka o Ngati Hine Festival 2019
A celebration of the biannual Ngati Hine Festival this exhibition of local artists who whakapapa to Ngati Hine is based around the well known whakatauki of Ta Himi Henare “Ko te reo te mauri o te mana Māori.”

Our World
Cracking mosaic artist Pat George & Co. from Kaipara bring a realm of colour, texture and abstract works to the gallery with this inspired show to step you into summer.

The Art of Yoga
Time to breathe, centre and let go. Gentle yoga in the Theatre Gallery every Thursday evening with Marie. No booking required, just come along and take time for yourself.
*Please note whanau, we host the pop-up Library & Service Centre in the Foyer Gallery this Spring/Summer while Te.
Hononga and the beautiful new Library is completed on the Hundertwasser Memorial Park.
