Touch A Truck is a community fundraising initiative created by the members of the Kamo Volunteer Fire Brigade.
This event is all about the community and the kids in the community... big and small.
Its a safe fun day for kids to come and check out all sorts machinery and vehicles that would usually be "hands off".
There is everything there from diggers and dumpers, to graders even big flash shiny trucks and police cars... also a local helicopter pops in for a visit... and yes... lots of noisy Fire Appliances.
The Kamo and Whangarei transport and agriculture community have been excellent in loaning machinery and vehicles. Without them this event wouldn't be what it is... thank you!
The fundraising is for the Kamo Sky Tower Climb Team, who use this event to raise funds for the Leukemia and Blood Foundation.
