- Interactive Kids Theatre - second Saturday of each month
- Puppet Show & Workshop - fourth Saturday of each month

Every fortnight The Cross celebrates theatre for children with either a Puppet Show & workshop, or an interactive production of a well-known fairy tale from Playshop.

Fingal is our puppeteer master—she and her puppet friends have an exciting tale to tell, and their show will be followed by a puppet making workshop—just bring a sock and you could be leaving with a new puppet friend!

There may even be another show after the workshop too, fingers crossed. Fingal's Puppet show & Workshop run on the fourth Saturday of every month.

Every other fortnight, on the second Saturday of the month, we host Playshop's interactive kids' theatre productions, where the actors and kids recreate classic fairy tales, using dress ups, props and creative minds!

As per all our activities at The Cross, the shows are free, so come one come all, bring a friend or three and enjoy some fun theatre and stories.

Shows start at 11am* in our Guest Room so make sure you're in nice and early to secure a good spot.

These shows will go hand in hand with our other weekend kid's activities such as face painting, crafts and colouring-in. Sign up to our newsletter here to stay in the loop with other events and fun things happening at The Cross for the little ones!

We only ask that parents bear in mind that as a licensed premise, minors must be accompanied by either mum or dad at The Cross. We'd love to have you all join in on these activities as a family—and let's be honest, it's really just a good excuse for parents to enjoy all those fun kid activities that we have to pretend we're too old for later in life.

Ages 1–100 all welcome!
