Koffie Fugah is in Wellington offering a weekend of workshops! Get Amongst it drummers and dancers! Koffie is an extraordinary teacher and facilitator from Ghana, West Africa, and he will be here sharing a lifetime of knowledge of drum and dance with us! His passion for rhythm and dance is infectious. All are welcome, no experience necessary! In the open level or intermediate level classes, there will be a certain level of challenge but all are welcome to any workshop and will be met where you are at. Koffie will make you feel at home and support you while challenging the experienced dancers and drummers. This is an exciting, inclusive opportunity not to be missed!

About Koffie: Koffie Fugah grew up in the Volta Region of Ghana where drumming and dance are part of everyday life. Before moving to NZ, Koffie taught dance and drumming both in Ghana and internationally for over 15 years. In New Zealand, he has created the Kadodo Drum and Dance School and regularly tours around offering workshops and performances at festivals and in schools. He is an expert facilitator and brings a sense of joy to everything that is inspirational. He is a fun and funky teacher that will get you into the groove and you will be sure to leave with a smile on your face!

2:15pm- 3:30pm Beginner Drumming
3:45pm-5:15pm Intermediate/Advanced Drumming

Sunday 10 November
10am-11:30am Beginner Drumming
11:45am-1:15pm Intermediate/Advanced Drumming
