Korean Day 2019

The Korean Society of Christchurch would like to invite you to our annual cultural event, Korean Day Festival 2019.

This upcoming celebration will take place at St Margaret College, Charles Luney Auditorium, 6 pm – 9 pm, 23 rd February 2019.

We will showcase the traditional and modern Korean culture – Our main performers, Pyongtaek Performing Arts Company, are regarded as one of the best in Korea. Christchurch’s own young talents will be also giving exciting K-pop performances.

Our community of 3,500 Korean-Cantabrians is not large, but strong. Our society was recently awarded a Korean Presidential Citation for our contribution to the cultural diversity in Canterbury through annual Korean Day festivals. On this day, we celebrate our heritage and celebrate our life in Christchurch.
