Due to unpopular demand!

In tribute to the Spice Girls’ romantic anthem, “2 Become 1,” and with the humblest of apologies for any inconvenience caused, Lawrence Arabia and Banished Music have made the unified decision to consolidate the “Slightly-Too-Ambitious-With-Hindsight” two-night stand at Hollywood Avondale, into one “More-Realistic-But-Still-Glorious” night of celebration.

Tickets purchased for Friday 26th show will be redeemable on Saturday 27th, or alternatively if Friday ticket holders can’t make the Saturday show, you can be refunded at point of purchase (Under The Radar or Banished Music).

Despite having sampled the bitter taste of defeat at the hands of the free market, Saturday 27th April promises to deliver a sweet evening of immersive, multi-instrumental psychedelia, in a magnificent cinema, that crystallises all your paradoxical feelings about the state of the world today into a series of pithy Tony Robbins-esque maxims that will help you get through your forthcoming days with the absolute minimum of existential angst.

The Lawrence Arabia band features Heather Mansfield (The Brunettes), Hayden Eastmond-Mein, Tom Watson, Alistair Deverick (Boycrush/Carnivorous Plant Society) Claire Cowan (Blackbird Ensemble) and Anita Clark (Motte).

Opening the show in a special guest capacity are the wonderful Motte, Being. and Hans Pucket as well as DJ sets from Sigrid, and sumptuous delights on offer from Lord Of The Fries.

Tickets reasonably limited.

New Zealand's "foremost chronicler of 21st Century bourgeois dilemmas," Lawrence Arabia, is back with a tour to celebrate the soon to be released album version of his audacious twelve month long project, "Lawrence Arabia's Singles Club."

The album is released on March 29th and includes offerings from The Ruby Suns’ Ryan McPhun, Hollie Fullbrook of Tiny Ruins, Heather Mansfield from The Brunettes (singing alongside Liam Finn’s drums on ‘A Little Hate’) and a dream collaboration with psychedelic hero, Van Dyke Parks.

Tickets from Banished Music and Under The Radar.
