LGBTI Rainbow History Walk Tour (Turquoise Tour)

Join us on this 90-minute walk tour of inner city Wellington. Most of the walk is on the flat using accessible public footpaths. There are two points where we walk up steps (an alternative non-step route can be taken if required).

Learn about local LGBTI rainbow personalities and artists, activism and homosexual law reform, early social meeting places and homosexuality being used as a political weapon.

The walk tour starts outside City Gallery Wellington in Civic Square. It ends at Midland Park, Lambton Quay.
