Join us at the B:HIVE in Smales Farm for an exclusive live interview with Peter Chrisp, CEO of NZTE, New Zealand's economic development and trade promotion agency.

Peter has been Chief Executive since October 2011. From then to now, Peter and the team have been focused on building an organisation that can grow companies internationally, including attracting investment, for the benefit of New Zealand.

Before NZTE, Peter spent 23 years in the engineering, manufacturing, and pulp and paper industries, including roles in human resources, operations, logistics, supply chain, business improvement and general management. Peter was the General Manager of Tasman Paper in Kawerau, New Zealand, before taking up a role as Senior Vice President for Norske Skog International at the global headquarters in Oslo, covering business in South America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

His final role before moving back to New Zealand was based in Sydney as Regional President Norske Skog Australasia, manufacturing newsprint for New Zealand, Australia and Asian markets.

Peter has a Master of Social Sciences from Massey University and has undertaken additional study in law, marketing, strategy, accounting and finance at universities in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. Board roles have included the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, the Australian Pulp and Paper Innovation Council, the NZ China Council, the Asia NZ Foundation and Te Hono.

Join us at the B:HIVE on Wednesday 02 October, for the chance to see Peter live on stage in an exclusive interview delving into the lessons he has learned in business from running a newsprint manufacturing business to leading one of New Zealand's largest organisations.
