Direct from the coast of California, the hottest new Social Sport has arrived and the classic kiwi back yard will never be the same again. Pat’s Garage (in association with California Sandbag and Speight’s Summit Ultra) are proud to bring you Lobapolooza 2019 with over $1,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Don't be fooled by its simplicity, California Sandbag is perfect for the consummate social enthusiast as well as the ultra-competitive. Challenging, while at the same time providing a game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, skill levels and degrees of competitiveness.

Held in the new Beer Garden at Pat’s, we will have a pop-up bar outside along with food available throughout the day to purchase.

TICKETS
Tickets are exclusively sold on Eventfinda (search Lobapolooza 2019). Tickets are $30 per team of two. A maximum of 32 teams will be able to compete in the tournament so get in quick to avoid missing out. You must be 18 years or older to play as entry fee also includes a free pint for each bagger of Speight’s Summit Ultra Low Carb Lager; proud sponsors of the beer after. You CANNOT turn up on the day and play in the tournament without registering, although you can play socially throughout the day when boards are available.

TEAMS
Teams must be 2 people and you must organise your own team and teams can be altered once they are registered. Please inform the organisers on the day of any changes. Teams are highly encouraged to dress up for the tournament and as a bit of added motivation, there will be $200 worth of Pat's Garage bar tab's up for grabs. Think Rugby Seven attire, the more creative, the better your chances!

SPECTATORS/NON-COMPETITIVE CALIFORNIA SANDBAG PLAYERS
It's free to come spectate and enjoy Lobapolooza 2019, and there will also be multiple "social" California Sandbag boards available to play on throughout the day for free. So come along for some good times at Pat's!

START TIME
Beer Garden opens from 1pm and the first games will start at 2pm sharp, in order to play in the tournament, we would advise you get there by 1:30pm.

THE PRIZES
The WINNERS of Lobapolooza 2019 will win $500 cash and the much coveted, Lobapolooza Trophy. The runners up will score themselves $300 cash and third place will also win $100 cash.

All registered baggers will also have a chance to win a branded California Sandbag board with a Single's Lobapolooza tournament also being held on the day.
