Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
This workshop, new for 2019, runs on Saturday 25 May 10 AM - 2 PM.
In just four hours you'll learn lots of practical steps to grow your skills and confidence with your own makeup application and skin care. You'll identify makeup to suit your own skin tone and you'll discover lots of tools to help you achieve a flawless result. You'll go home with your own personal colour palette of makeup. We feel sure that every woman leaves feeling empowered and uplifted.
Expected learning outcomes:
- Understand how to take better care of your skin
- Learn how to use the tools of your beauty arsenal to create a flawless finish (brushes, blending buds etc)
- Understand how to colour match foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow
- Understand the power of lipstick
What to bring: Something to eat as this course crosses the lunch hour. We'll provide tea, coffee, biscuits in the staff-room. Please bring a small mirror to sit on a desk for makeup application. Deborah will supply primer, foundation, brushes etc for use during the workshop, and everyone will leave with their own colour palette of makeup.
About Deborah Walker: I have been in the beauty industry for just over four years. I am a makeup artist with a passion to help other women feel more confident in their makeup skills. I use the Younique brand of makeup which is hypo-allergenic and not tested on animals.
Who should attend: Females 16 years and older. There is a maximum class size of 10 students for this workshop.
