ManawatuEvents

This is the first in a new series of events to highlight, communicate and share Manawatu’s progress as a surge region for investment and growth. This event will be focusing on the agrifood sector and its critical role in Manawatu's economic landscape.

Hear from those leading the work, growth and development in the agrifood sector as we strive to achieve top global agrihub status for Manawatu. Our region's expertise and capabilities in food—from research, innovation, to processing, distribution and food production—positions us as one of New Zealand’s most integrated clusters, and the opportunities on our horizon are significant.

Our panel of speakers will bring insights and project updates from across the science, research and commercial scene:
- Dr Abby Thompson, Chief Executive, FoodHQ
- Ruma Karaitiana, Board of Directors Chair for Rangitane o Manawatu Investment Trust
- Dean Tilyard, Chief Executive, The Factory
- Malcolm Bailey, Chairman, CEDA Board
- Lucy Griffiths, CEDA Board Member

With MC Andy Whitson, this insider event will communicate and discuss where region sits in the national and global food landscape, about what’s happening, who’s doing what and what it all means for you, your business and your lifestyle here in Manawatu.

Admission is free but RSVP's essential, numbers are limited.
