It's your 'Rural day in the Bay!' The 7th annual Maraekakaho Country Market Day will be held on the 9th March 2019.
Enjoy a family day where there will be pony rides, grown art and colouring in competitions for the kids; local produce (including fresh locally grown lamb), coffee, home baking, gourmet foods, artisan crafts, gifts, toys, baby/child/adult clothing, jewellery, furniture, art, and entertainment.
Watch our local world champion shearer Rowland Smith shear sheep! See what's on offer and place a bid at the silent auction....or try your luck in some real country fun at the gumboot throw or cow pat bingo!
Located just 15 minutes from Hastings in a scenic rural setting. Saturday 9th March 2019 10am - 3pm Maraekakaho Sports Ground (corner of SH50 and Kereru Rd) All proceeds go to Maraekakaho School and Gumboots Maraekakaho Early Childhood Centre.
