Cruise across the beautiful Otago Harbour on the Sootychaser from Back Beach, Port Chalmers, or Portobello on request.
Viewing the birds that are on the Otago Harbour along the way and receiving an insightful commentary from the skipper.
Join the tour at Marine Studies Centre, Portobello where you will be guided and shown the interesting and weird creatures that are studied here. Touch tanks allow people to get close and personal with some of the creatures. View different fish species and sea horses.
Touch sea cucumbers, anenamies and crabs in touch tanks.
Children and adults alike will be fascinated.
Includes admission to the centre, a tour and a return ferry trip.
We depart from Back Beach in Port Chalmers at 10:30am.
The ferry then leaves the NZ Marine studies centre at 12:15pm to bring you back to Back Beach.
An infant for this particular tour is aged 0-4 years.
A child is aged 5-15 years.
