Piki Toi is a collective of artists who have been vulnerably housed, but are much more than that. They are illustrators, painters, carvers, storytellers.
Come and see their talents and creativity, buy something, join some activities and perhaps commission some mahi for yourself.
They'll have something happening in the courtyard everyday.
Sat 22 Jun - Hosted by the Piki Toi crew, there'll be a mihi and kai from 12pm until the food runs out
Tues 25 Jun - How good is your Te Reo - take on our experts in Kupurori - our street sized scrabble
Wed 26 Jun - bring your canvas sneakers - commission one of our artists to customise your sneaks
Thurs 27 Jun - We'll be carving in the courtyard
More activities to come... watch our Facebook event for updates.
Supported by Lifewise, Unitec and Auckland Council.
This event is part of Matariki Festival, 22 June - 14 July, proudly hosted by Auckland Council in partnership with Waikato-Tainui. More info and updates on www.matarikifestival.org.nz and Facebook, or pick up a programme from Friday, 14 June. #matarikifestival
