Hallertau Brewery

Step into the brand new Hallertau Barrel Room for the first time and meet some of our favourite fermenting folk.

The Hallertau kitchen will incorporate their kimchi, sauerkraut and slaw into tasty canapes for the evening.

Craftwork brewery, based in Oamaru, brew small idiosyncratic batches of Belgian inspired ales, without compromise. Craftwork Brewery is a collaborative brewing partnership between Michael O'Brien and Lee-Ann Scotti, they like to source the finest malts and adjuncts, organically and locally. The night will see the launch of Craftwork & Hallertau's collaborative beer barrel aged Red Saison which has been two years in the making plus sampling through their range of bottle conditioned beers.

Mama’s Brew Shop is the creation of two friends and mamas, Liv and Rene. They were brought together by their kids and bonded over beer, babies and booch. Rene was able to use her skills as a nutritionist and medical herbalist to create the special Mama’s Brew Shop brews and after converting the garage downstairs, Helensville’s first Kombuchery was born. Enjoy a new Kombucha 'Happy Hour' cocktail on arrival.

Hallertau Captain of Beer Steve Plowman will be sharing for the very first time preview drams of the brand new Hallertau Whisky and showcasing some of his more esoteric brews.
