Mihi ki te Ao - Matariki Dish Challenge 2019

This June and July, The Local Taphouse is proud to be part of the Matariki Dish Challenge 2019!

Try our dish, created by Demi-Chef Taiamai Callaghan, Mihi ki te Ao (thanks to the world) with venison rubbed with horopito, Waiporoporo potatoes, wild mushrooms and pikopiko with blackberry and kawakawa sauce for $35.

"My dish is about bringing different kai together that have been introduced to New Zealand over time from other origins but most of all not forgetting the native plants to Aotearoa."

Available Tuesday – Saturday from 11am - 3pm and 5pm – 9pm, 8 June – 14 July.
