Mike Maynard - Coloured Images

Mike Maynard is an artist working in acrylics in a semi-surreaslist style that looks at themes surrounding humanity and his unique world view.

Mike has exhibited extensively throughout New Zealand and in Dresden, Germany resulting in a cruise ship company commissioning 12 paintings for one of their new cruise ships.

Prior to his stroke, Mike was an art tutor at Turning Point Trust, Tauranga Historic Village for over 20 years.

Faced with the challenges of having to re-learn basic life skills and recognition of imagery and objects, his vision is to show people that even if you have a life changing health event, life does go on.

All works are for sale, with all of the proceeds going to The Stroke Foundation.
