Moths and Butterflies of New Zealand Trust: Bellbird

The first-ever Butterflies Trust film fundraiser is on Wednesday, 23 October at the Penthouse,
Brooklyn, 6pm for a 6.30pm sharp start. Our film is Bellbird, which got good reviews at the Film
Festival. It is about a Northland farmer’s inability to express his grief after his wife dies. Despite the
subject matter, it is a comedy drama!

We’d very much appreciate it if you could support our fundraiser, which will help fund the Trust’s
activities. We’re a registered charity which, among other things, seeks to protect habitat and
endangered species, undertake and sponsor research, and run education programmes in schools.

Film tickets are $18. We are also selling raffle tickets at $2 for 1 ticket, $5 for 3 tickets.

Then email butterflieswellington@gmail.com with your name and the number of tickets,
and we’ll send a confirmation email to you. There will be door sales if pre-sales aren’t sold out.

We will also have Trust memberships ($35 per year), spray free Swan plant seeds ($5 per packet) and 2020 calendars ($15) for sale on the night. We’ll also have past editions of our lovely Members’
magazine available, and we’d appreciate Koha for these.

All on the night sales will be cash only, so please bring paper money!
