All Ages

Muka youth prints is a very special exhibition of small lithographic art works for people 5 to 19 years of age only.

For 33 years the iconic NZ touring art event muka prints has been giving young people the chance to start their own art collection: they can view the exhibition and if they want to, even buy a lithographic print.

Each year muka prints invite a number of NZ and international artists to exclusively produce a set of lithographic prints. The names and signatures of the artists are covered and the artworks displayed for viewing and purchase by people under 19 years of age.

Help kids experience the magic value of art by getting art into their hands.

Muka Prints Rules:
- All art works are $75
- Open to people under 19 years old only – no adults allowed!
- Visitors can buy a maximum of three works and only for themselves, not for adults
- Visitors can enter the exhibition space only once
- No mobile phones or cameras.

The exhibition will take place in a specially reserved room in the Auckland Art Gallery from Saturday 30 November to Sunday 1 December from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Only kids have access to the exhibition – no parents, grandparents or any other adults. The signatures of the artists who created the art works for the muka exhibitions is hidden in the exhibition.

Exhibition & sales day: Sat 30 November and Sun 1 December
Collection day: from Saturday 7 December
