A Reflection on Palm Sunday
Chroma Chamber Choir's concert features contemplative music, mostly composed for Palm Sunday and Holy Week, from the 16th to the 20th century. The programme includes favourite works by Byrd, Gibbons, Handel and Purcell and well-loved motets and songs by Brahms, Bruckner and Howells. The choir will mostly sing unaccompanied, but some items will feature organ accompaniment by Alan K. Gray.
The Celebration Series is a new season of concerts produced by NCMA over the autumn and winter months. The concerts will be the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Audience members will be able to relax and enjoy performances featuring wonderful local and national musicians including Michael Houston, the NCMA Chamber Orchestra featuring Donald Armstrong and more.
Performances take place in the Nelson School of Music Auditorium, NCMA every second Sunday at 3.30pm from March until September 2019.
