2020 NZ Dementia Research, Education & Care Summit is a one day symposium showcasing current dementia research activities and contemporary dementia education opportunities. For the inaugural 2020 event, the main focus is on population-level prevention, indigenous population needs - in particular Te Ao Māori and dementia; current research in the areas of cause and care; innovation; and education.
Who should attend? This event will be of value to anyone involved in an aspect of dementia awareness, prevention, knowledge and care activities. The programme is targeted to the professional development and information needs of healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry leaders and decisionmakers, researchers and lifelong learners.
This is an opportunity for attendees to renew and create connections across a broad cross-section of public, private and community sector organisations with event attendees being Board Members, Directors, CEOs, managers, healthcare professionals, frontline and ancillary support staff.
