The Vocal Collective (formerly the Christchurch Pops Choir) presents its opening concert of 2019: ‘New York State of Mind ‘before departing on their tour of the USA.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Matthew Everingham, The Vocal Collective will perform a range of American pop and rock classics from the likes of Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and Carole King alongside Kiwi pop/rock hits by Lorde, Dave Dobbyn, Crowded House and some traditional waiata. This concert promises to celebrate the best of contemporary Americana and Kiwiana music.
Join The Vocal Collective at The Piano Centre for Music and the Arts ‘New York State of Mind’ before they depart for the United States in a tour which includes Washington DC, New York and culminates in a performance at Carnegie Hall at Total Vocal with Deke Sharon.
