The beginner's course is suitable for those with no prior knowledge of New Zealand Sign Language and Deaf Culture. This course will introduce to you basic NZSL grammar and structure and Deaf Culture in a supportive learner focussed environment. You will learn how to converse in NZSL using the correct body language and facial expressions.
Your teacher, Kelly Quirke, is a qualified Senior NZSL Tutor who has been working for over 20 years with leaners from all walks of life.
With face to face tutor time this course is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in this beautiful language. You will be provided with resources to further your skills.
