Live it up at Auckland’s biggest Melbourne Cup party.
On Tuesday 5 November, be sure to knock off work early and join the thousands that descend onto Ellerslie Racecourse for the Auckland’s biggest Melbourne Cup Day party.
For a one-of-a-kind experience, set in front of an entertaining backdrop of fine hospitality, fashion and live horse racing (a thrill offered nowhere else in the city), this mainstay Auckland event truly is the next best thing to Flemington.
In addition to the on-site racing, live coverage will be broadcast direct from Melbourne, with the big race - the Lexus Melbourne Cup - screened live for all to see on the outdoor super screens at 5pm.
The stakes are upped for racewear fashionistas too with the female deemed as the day’s best dressed pre-qualifying for the regional final of New Zealand’s national fashions in the field competition, The Ned Prix de Fashion, set to be held at Ellerslie on 29 February 2020.
Add to this some cool activations from the Club’s partners, the famous on-site afterparty, set to kick off with a band once the horses have been tucked up into bed, and it’s one social event you don’t want to miss.
