There's something for everyone at the Onetangi Beach races.

The day starts at 10am with a host of activities for children on and around the beach area. Don't miss the sandcastle competition, a big dig for awesome prizes or the wheelbarrow race where kids and adults team up to race across the sand.

Competition in the age-group beach sprints is fierce and kids of all ages and abilities are encouraged to enter.

Late morning the beach racing starts in earnest. Make sure you buy a race book and use the Tote facilities to place your bets. Additional races this year include a Partner's Wheelbarrow race and Uniformed Services race involving Waiheke's finest.

For the fashionistas, there's our annual Fashion in the Field event (or should we say sand?) - a not-too-serious nod at the race day tradition. Registrations can be made on the day.

Don't miss the Silent Auction - a fantastic chance to bid for some incredible products and services kindly donated by local businesses. Browse the items on offer and place bids at the Auction tent between 10am and 3pm.

We also have a hospitality tent for those who want the VIP treatment! With the best beach side view of the races, relax in the shade under our open-sided marquee. Enjoy a beautiful lunch catered by Urban Escargot and a glass of local wine.

A licensed bar operates within the marquee, exclusively for guests. Early Bird tickets are: $85.00/Early Bird tables of 10: $800.00. On 19 January tickets are: $95.00 / Regular price tables of 10: $900.00. For hospitality tent reservations email: info@onetangibeachraces.co.nz

The beach side market operates all day, showcasing the best of Waiheke's artisan produce, products and of course coffee!
