Open Day

Our Open Day is back and this time it’s all about The Barber of Seville. Drop in to get a glimpse behind the scenes as we prepare to open this energetic and sassy production.

There’ll be a chance to watch the Freemasons New Zealand Opera Chorus in rehearsal with Director Lindy Hume and Conductor Wyn Davies, see the wigs and makeup team and the wardrobe department in action. You can try on costumes and join in some special activities.

This event is free and great fun for all ages. Please note there will be limited seating available in the rehearsal area.

Important transport note:
Due to our location and the markets at La Cigale, we do not recommend driving to the open day. We encourage you to check out public transport or consider getting dropped off. Please note, La Cigale French Markets run from 8am to 1:30pm just next door.
