Join us for a truly unique garden tour and "al fresco" lunch at Otahuna.
First, set off with longtime Head Gardener Steve Marcham as he explains the restoration and enhancement of the property's century-old "Garden of National Significance."
The tour will visit: the formal Dutch Garden; the property's redeveloped Melon and Mushroom Houses; the brand-new Games Lawn; and the productive gardens from which we annually source more than 140 different kinds of organic fruits, nuts and vegetables.
Following the garden tour another highlight awaits: a degustation lunch prepared by Executive Chef Jimmy McIntyre and served - weather permitting - amidst the gardens. The communal, three-course lunch will showcase the bounty of produce raised on the estate with courses matched with premium New Zealand wines.
Included in the tariff of $200 per person are:
- A 90-minute garden tour
- A 3-course "al fresco," long-table lunch
