So what are you going to be painting?
This painting depicts a splash in a Californian swimming pool. In California, Hockney discovered, everybody had a swimming pool. Because of the climate, they could be used all year round and were not considered a luxury, unlike in Britain where it is too cold for most of the year. So let’s dive into this one and make a splash.
What is Paintvine?
It’s a fun social painting class where our artists will run you through step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own masterpiece in a fun and relaxed bar in Wellington. Perfect for dates, catching up with mates or for meeting new friends.
We provide all the materials you need (high-quality canvas, acrylic paint, brushes). All you need to bring is your creative spirit (or find some at the bottom of a glass). At the end of the night you will leave with your own painting ready to hang up on your wall.
What is included?
All you need to bring is yourself. We supply the paints, brushes, canvases, easels and more. Best of all we do all of the setup and cleaning up so you can focus on just having fun.
