For aging former band-manager Frank’s (Brown) milestone birthday, he and his wife Charlotte (Scacchi) decide to throw a three-day house party to celebrate, in their fabulous Palm Beach home overlooking the ocean. Thirty years after their lone hit single, Frank’s band The Pacific Sideburns are reunited, along with their wives and now grown-up children. Drinking wine and soaking up the sunshine, the group let the good times roll as they reminisce over their shared history.

However, not all is smooth sailing and conviviality soon gives way to the messy realities of life. Over the course of the long weekend, secrets begin to emerge and a potentially catastrophic accident propels the friends to confrontation. Anxiety, guilt and loss could be a force for diversion as they hover close to a revelation that threatens to end to the thirty-year love affair between them all.
