The show:
“Something”, “Layla”, “Wonderful Tonight” – Pattie Boyd was the wide-eyed, model face of Sixties’ London, who inspired some of the greatest love songs of all time, with high profile marriages to Beatle, George Harrison and blues-god Eric Clapton.

Entitled George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Me; An Evening with Pattie Boyd. Boyd will share memories, film footage and personal photographs of life in the“rock-ocracy” of the Sixties that included The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin,Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

She will reveal how she found herself bound to two of the most addictive and promiscuous musical geniuses of the 20th century and became the most legendary muse in the history of rock’n’roll.

Starting off with a swanky hour of cocktails with the ever-glamorous Boyd, the evening will then feature 2 hours of a conversational show and tell.

The Auckland event will feature a well-known and equally colourful MC; long-time friend and creator of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, New Zealander Richard O’Brien. He is delighted to engage the audience for the starlet who was once commissioned to photograph him for OK! Magazine. The Australian events will be hosted by hosted by Brian Nankervis.
