Pest Detective & Kaipupu

Join Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary and Picton Dawn Chorus for a morning of becoming a “Pest Detective”.

Fun and educational activities around identifying animal pests by their footprints, teeth marks and other clever clues. In order to make our town predator free and protect the Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary we need everyone to be on the lookout for these introduced critters! A chance to earn your Toyota Kiwi Guardian Pest Detective medal!

After the pest detective event take advantage of the special summer priced boat trips to Kaipupu with Beachcomber Cruises. Bring your packed lunch and enjoy a 2 hour self-guided walk around the Sanctuary.
