The Phil's Kitchen Experience, brought to you by EliteSingles and Date With Eight is social evening for single men and women aged between mid 50's to 60's. It aims to provide guests with a chance to meet new singles 'off-line' over dinner at Phil's Kitchen, one of Auckland's most creative and exciting restaurants.
Start the evening off with pre-drinks*, followed by a 3-course set menu that highlights the best of Aotearoa’s seasonal produce.
Phil is renowned for putting a kiwi twist on modern European cuisine, taking ingredients that you know and love and turning them into something extraordinary.
You'll meet other EliteSingles and Date With Eight members over the course of the evening; making connections through conversation, mixing and mingling.
*Beverages are not included, but can be purchased on the night.
FAQs
- Do you have to be single to attend? Yes, this dining event is for single people in their Mid 50's - 60's. You don't have to be an EliteSingles or Date With Eight member to attend, but you must be single.
- Why are there so few tickets? We want you to have a chance to get around to talk to everyone, so we think 20 people for dinner is manageable. It also ensures we have an equal (or near equal) ratio of men to women and Phil's Kitchen is only a small bisto that seats this number.
- What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Phil's Kitchen is right on Kingsland's main road and directly across from the Kingsland Train Station. There is limited street parking, and a small Pay and Display lot nearby (see link for more info).
- How will I know where to go? Phil's Kitchen is at 479 New North Road. It's only a small restaurant so you can't get lost and your host will greet you as you arrive.
- What are the menu options? Phil is designing a suitable set menu. Vegetarians can be catered for. Most other dietary requirements will most likely be able to be catered for, but please e-mail to check.
- What's the dress code? This is a semi-formal dinner, so please dress 'smart'. Men are encouraged to wear a collar. No jeans, trainers or sneakers.
- Do I need to print off my ticket? No need to print tickets as we will have all names on a guest list. Have some proof with you (eg: on your mobile device) just incase.
