Phuntsok Choeling: The 42nd Sakya Trizin

Phuntsok Choeling, the Hawke’s Bay Tibetan Buddhist Centre, is honoured that the 42nd Sakya Trizin, His Holiness Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, will be sharing his wisdom and teachings in Napier.

This is a rare opportunity for people to learn about Buddhism by listening to one of the most highly qualified and accomplished masters of Tibetan Buddhism in modern times on the subject of “Karma, Clear Mirror of Cause and Effect”.

What will you learn?
Buddhism sees that the mind is the creator of our reality and has developed practices which enable us to work with our mind, to develop calm, concentration, awareness and positive emotions such as friendliness and empathy. In Buddhism meditation is used to develop a fuller understanding of ourselves, other people and of life itself.

People will receive an introduction to these principles which can be developed further if they find that they are useful for them. Buddhism encourages all to retain their own spiritual faith, and to learn key tools to finding a way to a peaceful and compassionate existence with others on this fragile planet.
