A 3-hour intensive physical theatre and mime class for performing artists and any people wishing to develop their physical skills and awareness.

Students are taken on a journey of play and exploration, developing spontaneity, freedom, playfulness and presence plus mime techniques, via games and improvisation.

Workshop leader Fergus Aitken has over three decades experience in over a dozen countries world-wide. An international award-winning entertainer, he has performed in Russia, England, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Fiji and Australia.

Recent masterclasses have included Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Riverside, Nelson, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.

Fergus trained in mime, physical theatre, circus and clown, in the UK and in NZ. His teachers include Robert Bennett, Desmond Jones, John Wright, Simon McBurney, Les Bubb, John Bolton, Deb Pope, Giovanni Fusetti, Thomas Monckton, Fraser Hooper and Ira Seidenstein.

There are two free places available.
