Providing greater insight into getting the most out of your wholefood plant-based diet. It’s not necessarily what you’re eating but how you are eating, and how you prepare and complete a dish can make a big difference. Plus I give you an inside look as to how my athletes and I fuel ourselves during training and competing.

If you attended the popular Plant-Based Nutrition for Sport workshop, you will know that this not only applies to athletes but to anyone interested in a healthy wholefood plant-based lifestyle.

This workshop will carry on where we left off:
- Gastrointestinal Distress - how to minimise it
- Maximise nutrient absorption by specific food preparation
- Boost antioxidant intake with big flavours - spices
- Insight into how I fuelled my 100km ultramarathon
- Myth Busting soy products and fats/oils
- Assessing stress on the body with Heart Rate Variability

If you are attending for the first time, I will start with a brief recap of the essentials from the first workshop including wholefood vs supplements and protein requirements. These workshops have been extremely popular, selling out 9 times across 3 locations in New Zealand, and another 8 times across 5 locations in Australia.

There will be no repeat sessions as we’re cramming in 5 dates in 8 days on this New Zealand tour that includes Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, and Rotorua. Make sure you buy your tickets now!

We’re super stoked to have our favourite product partners sponsoring this workshop, either with samples for everyone or a giveaway hamper drawn at the end of the session. A big thank you to Frooze Balls, Pics Peanut Butter, and Radix Nutrition.

We are also absolutely delighted to present Dr Luke Wilson (MBChB, BA, MSc) of Two Zesty Bananas as our Wellington guest speaker!

Dr Wilson has worked in Santa Rosa, California, as an intern for Dr John McDougall at the McDougall Health and Medical Center and also alongside Dr Michael Klaper and Dr Alan Goldhamer at the True North Health Center. In 2016 Dr Wilson conducted the first whole foods plant-based study of its kind in New Zealand, has completed a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition and is a Certified Physician with the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr Wilson is a member of the New Zealand Medical Association, was New Zealand’s first member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and has experience helping hundreds of people transform their lives by adopting a whole foods plant-based lifestyle.

Ben Eitelberg is an endurance sports coach and an avid advocate for a wholefood plant-based lifestyle. As a highly accredited triathlon coach, he has been operating his endurance sports coaching business Fitness Locker for over 8 years.

Whilst Ben has always placed an emphasis on ‘real food’ nutrition, his personal journey to a complete wholefood plant-based approach has been an extremely favourable one, which he continues to share.
