The Dunedin City Council invites you to take part in Plastic Free July, the global movement that gets us thinking about the amount of plastic in our lives. The challenge raises awareness of our growing plastic waste problem and supports behaviour change by helping people avoid single-use plastic.
With a variety of workshops, talks and tours available, you’ll be well equipped to give up single-use plastic for good.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are advised.
Create your own collection bag to use for clean-up events or when you go out collecting rubbish. You can pick different patterns and use stencils to make your bag look cool. All sewing gear and material will be provided.
To register, email - keepdunedinbeautiful@dcc.govt.nz.
