Pop-up Globe

Weekly Term 2 Acting Course for 10 - 14 yr olds

Have you ever come to one of the shows at Pop-up Globe and thought, ‘how do they come up with these ideas?!’

‘Play - From Page to Stage’ is a workshop that will have students breaking into Shakespeare’s text, rummaging through his treasures and unearthing their own world of creativity. In the true name of fun, we’re here to do just as the Bard intended… PLAY!

Designed to expose the magic of Shakespeare’s stories and scenes, we will be decoding his text to allow students to play jazz with it and build worlds of their own.

Students can expect to come away with a more thorough knowledge of the Pop-up Globe playhouse, stage performance, Shakespeare’s characters and text, and hopefully, a connection to their own inner Bard.
